While kids these days grow up texting and updating their social networking sites, I grew up playing Polly Pocket and being outside all day.
While kids these days grow up seeing Nikons and Canons in everyone’s hands, I grew up thinking my grandpa’s Polaroid camera was the coolest thing ever invented.
While kids these days grow up cussing and yelling at each other, I grew up saying “Ooh you said a bad word!” whenever someone said the mildest bit of vulgarity.
While kids these days grow up seeing nudity in practically every bit of media, I grew up not having to worry about that because all I watched all day were the best cartoons.
While kids these days grow up watching Hannah Montana and caring more about money and fame, I grew up watching Boy Meets World and Full House and learned the most important life lessons.
Man, did we have it good back then.

BBOYING TIP- THE TALK TEST
One problem I know bboys have trouble with is holding their breath while breaking. This causes you to drain energy faster which will then domino effect into more problems. I am still unsure what causes this. My guess is that all the focus is on what they are going to…

So much information running through my head!
(Somewhat) funny story:
A kid (and his group of friends) comes up to the kiosk asking to buy 2 trucker caps with his name in graffiti lettering.
First thing that pops into my head: He’s a bboy.
So I start designing his name when one of his friends says, “Hey…I recognize you…do you know Lacy?”
Me: “Omon? Yeah, I’m in her crew.”
Friend: “Oh! That’s where I know you from. I practice with her.”
Me: “That’s cool. So does he (the hat buyer) bboy?”
Friend: “Yeah, they’re all in my crew.”
I knew it. I’m probably going to see those hats at a jam.
Lacy, if you see this, his name was Johnny and the hat buying kid was Chi.
And apparently, my friend Jasmine walked by while I was making those hats, but she didn’t say hi and opted to leave me a text message which I couldn’t read until I got out of work. NEXT TIME SAY HI!!!!
Tomorrow I work 1-9pm. I’m slightly scared.
